Vegas comps as local compared to out of state...

Hey, blessed morning/night to you!

I'm moving to Henderson in 2 weeks, and I'm wondering if anyone has info on whether the comps received change from living, say in Utah, to living right next to the Station casinos in Henderson, and 10 minutes from the strip...

I can see and understand if the free rooms are reduced, but I want to make sure my tournament invitations and free play are still intact. If not, does it seem like a smart move to "claim" I still live in Utah. Thank you all!

IMO it doesnt matter, My comps were and are still the exact same when i lived in Henderson. I stayed at hotels for free when living in henderson nothings changed.

Are you moving near Sunset station or GVR?

I use to live around the sunset station area, loved it out there. Way cheaper than here, 24 hour life and i love to party and gamble lol. Moved back for work. But i'll be back soon.

Oh man, yes closet to Sunset Station! The American Pacific Drive/Stephanie Street area. It's sooooo beautiful, and hell yeah about gambling and living it up whenever.

I appreciate the love judge, I'm super excited for the move.

An advantage for being local is the monthly offers. I live near Red Rock and get free slot play offers every month (2-4 a month). I'm sure you'd get the same at Sunset Station. Make sure you get your players club card and they will mail you offers.

Oh s-h-i-t I love it! Yeah, I earned up a lot of "points" a week ago at Sunset, and the free play offers sound like a hell of a time. Thanks Dan, I'm really getting super excited about the move now!

The LVH will give you an additional 25% off on things inside the hotel/casino. You just need to ask other casinos if they off any incentives for locals.
