Leaving MN September 16th and coming home Tuesday the 20th. Large group of about 8-9 of us. Staying at TI, also picked up a few free rooms at Flamingo Sun and Monday night to give us more rooms.

Cabana Saturday, NFL football Sunday...MYvegas rewards so far are 1 free buffet at Mandalay Bay, and Whiskey tasting at Monte carlo. Any other suggestions?

Anyone going to be out there to meet up?

Get the drink cart in the big Farris wheel.  All you can drink for the whole ride.  If you guys can drink you can easily consume more for the price you pay than what you would pay for those drinks at any casino or bar in Vegas.  So the ride pays for itself.

2 weeks away!

Having a pre-vegas get-together to spit ball ideas of things we want/need to see and do. Just an excuse to get the Vegas juices flowing!

An idea if everyone is a gambler..

Have the group pony up a $100 each and hit a $5 Video Poker machine in a high-limit room..Give the guy who signs any possible W-2's 20% to cover the taxes or have it withheld....20K for a royal though unlikely, but doubling your $ not out of the question.Fun way to kill an hour and whoever's card is n the machine will get credit for future comps..Have a good trip.Going myself for week one NFL and fantasy football draft at Flamingo on Saturday..using comps at 4 places to stay semi-free (resort fees) but still can't beat Vegas for a freaking week on the cheap.

The "bare" pool at mirage has a good topless pool party no charge to get in but it's a minimum of 100 a char for total bill so if 5 of you the bill just has to come to 500 or more its easy to do when a single beer is 9 Bucks. Also buffet at Wynn is the best ever!

I like that idea James, and it was something we discussed. Some of us gamble alot more than a select few...probably half are serious when it comes to gambling. I'm all for that idea, though likely playing max bet slots in hopes of hitting a jackpot of some sort. And hopefully getting drinks as we play!

James, sounds like you have a pretty sweet set up yourself with the comped rooms. We're kinda in that same boat, paying mostly resort fees and maybe a night or to at TI.

Have fun and enjoy week 1 of the NFL! I'm looking forward to betting in the books as well. Take a break from the online books :D Good luck!!!!
