Vegas Sportsbooks

How would you guys rate the top three books in Vegas, as far as all around player friendly.  All inclusive.  Stirctly sports wise not the racing.  I've only been to the MGM, Caesars and Hilton.  I just would like to know what I am missing out on, so when I go next month I can see the others.  Thanks again.

Mandalay Bay is quite nice,,,I like the M (it is a ways out tho)  - and of course always enjoy the fact you can shop for a better number rather easily in the downtown area - have a good day Sir

How do you define "player friendly?"....

  VG, probably wrong wording, total atmosphere, good place to watch game, employees friendly, drinks, ticket windows, total surrondings.

No lines, good for last second bets....NY-NY

Drinks.....The Bellagio

Lagasse Stadium at The Pallazzo....pretty cool

The new Sporting House (the old ESPN Zone) at NY-NY...130 new hdtv's......

Gotta tell ya, though....I really am not in favor of watching the games in a sportsbook...any of them. The bet (and the line that I am getting) is one thing, and my enjoyment of how I am seeing the game (with or without food/booze) is totally different.

PS....

Soccer at the Crown & Anchor on Trop....If you were there for the USA/England match for the World Cup, you experienced the greatest place in Vegas for that sport.

Which points out what I was saying about separating the sportsbook from the viewing.....

Make your bets wherever you get the best lines.....then go watch the games where you will enjoy yourself....Free booze?....really overplayed, not worth the effort to me.....Plus, other than drinking a bottle of beer that I am certain is that beer, DO I REALLY WANT SOME WATERED-DOWN WELL BOOZE?....I think not.
