Question

I used to think ALL VP in Las Vegas was a totally random draw of 52 cards with each new deal.... where 5 cards dealt you can&#x27;t see, then 5 on top that you decide your draw on, with the 5 down already decided. Then I called the lasvegas gaming commission and spoke to a guy who said he didn&#x27;t know how VP worked? Are you kidding me....I found out that the VP at my Local Native american casino(Wisconsin) is NOT dealt that way.....it is like a slot machine , where the machine decides if you win or not. The 5 down cards are not predetermined before you decide the draw.......WOW, does that SUCK!

Video Poker is like a Slot so the casino can limit any Loss and maintain a Win %.I was playing at a Bar VP in Vegas and I was watching the Ball Game on the TV. On the Draw I got a Straight Unsuited,my mind was totally on the basketball game so instead of Holding all 5 cards and getting a payoff,I just hit the Draw and got 5 new cards.That machine knew that I was due for a Straight/payoff so I got 5 new cards Unsuited that was also a Straight and I got paid.
