the Westgate Superbook FINALLY got their sports betting smart phone app going January 19th after a 4 month wait was supposed to be ready for football season BUT had "regulation delays" according the manager Jay Kornegay
I signed up as soon as it was available because the Westgate has THE best moneyline odds in NHL hockey with a 10 cent line. NO In Game or props yet like William-Hill BUT hopefully should have soon. any bet available at the actual sportsbook is available on the phone app
btw, all the construction to the sportsbook itself is complete and the place is spectacular BUT when the Mrs and I were there their new "long bar" had only ONE bartender and it was damn near impossible to get service. Westgate owner David Siegel is gonna have to realize you can NOT do everything on the "cheap cheese and half azz" at a casino property like his time shares

was there myself, I must admit, the 'book' itself is beyond spectacular, great screens, excellent seating arrangement; they're slowly getting it together; in game is coming, and the props are their, you must have been there at the wrong time, the long bar had 3 employee's working behind the bar, with two barbacks assisting, no big deal..Siegel is dedicated but inexperienced, making Kornegay Vice President of gaming operations was a good move, everything that has been renovated is on him, with more upgrades to come, give it time, soon the Westgate SuperBook will be the innovation leader amongst all LV books, the best has yet to come...

When are they bringing Quark's bar back? Then maybe I will venture off strip back to that place.
Ya I enjoyed the old Star Trek Experience. they took that out and it is a "machine room" now. in a lot of ways I like South Point's sportsbook set up better. the screens at Westgate are almost TOO big and definitely TOO bright for "old geezer" eyes. when the Mrs and I go I loaf in the old "man cave" room BUT now that I have my app I doubt we will be going very often unless it is for the $5 "local's special" dinner buffet which is a good value in this town.
last time we were there they had just started "validated parking" which is a pain in the butt. they did NOT have a sign on the gate stating that like the parking @ downtown casinos and we thought it was "high roller only" restricted and almost left. Mrs went around to the main garage in front and the attendant explained the deal. there were a LOT of locals really PIZZED OFF by that we met that night.

A old coondog asking for change in the WESTGATE's sportbook head. i gave him a bean, then had to plead, just to get him to stop tap dancin and shuckin and jivin in the sink area....a real shithole. video machines tightened up noticeably since LVH days. ok, to run in and out of, better books to hang at..fyi,1 barman at the new bar, i went actually to play the progressive at the old bar. no more bar and no more progressive video poker. fk em.

you are correct about the machines, Poo. the Mrs is a degenerate video poker player and she used to hit pretty regular at the old LVH and even right after the Westgate took over BUT they been pure "death & destruction" lately. and I agree with "better sportsbook to watch a game". personal favorite is South Point which is close to where we live on the south side. I think they have the perfect set up with the four "big screens" and all the smaller ones above. one of the few books that actually will have NHL games on. also relatively "loose" with their drink comps and plenty of seating
the more I get used to the Westgate Phone App the more i like it. Jay has ALL their Super Bowl Props up on it as does William-Hill on theirs. NOT quite as "user friendly" as the William-Hill or Nevada Sports Books (South Point) apps BUT has an excellent selection of sports bets and props AND BEST NHL moneyline odds in the city. NEED to get their NHL In Game working like William-Hill has, though.

The machines are nothing like they were when it was the Hilton or LVH. They are beyond tight. I sank 3000 one night in a video keno machine and 4000 the next day without a single return, now they are gunna charge me to park LOL Really

Westgate can go to hell. I can't believe that shiithole is charging for parking...lol
in fairness to them you are NOT charged for parking IF you are a player. you just have to get the parking ticket validated at the sportsbook and in fact last time I was in I didn't even make a bet and it was NO problem.
I DID kind of fear this kind of stuff WAS going to happen, though after a time share "cheeser-squeezer" bought the place. NOW the buffet is only open selected nights during the week and their desert menu is not even close to what it used to be. sure as hell NOT the old Hilton from years back

according to https://wizardofvegas.com/hotels/westgate/ Pai Gow Poker is spread with $10-$2,000 limits @ the Westgate. I called the local phone number (702) 732-5111 and they confirmed they have one table with 6 spots and the pit boss stated their is usually an opening available
