I know this answer obviously depends on the amount you are playing but on average what would you receive from using a players card at the casino?
I always forget to use mine while I'm playing or lose it or leave it at home. is it worth some effort to make sure you're using your card or is the only thing I'm missing out on is a free buffett once per year?
Again, I'd consider myself an average scale player... $25 tables, couple hundred per sports bet (dont think it matters on sports), few hours of $1 video poker per trip. I go to Vegas about once per quarter for a weekend.

i was out there 3 weeks ago, stayed at caesars and am a diamond member. my avg bet is anywhere from 100-wherever playing blackjack and baccarat. i had my whole trip comped, 2 massages at qua spa at caesars, limo rides to and from airport, dinners at mesa grill, hyakumi, boa steakhouse, and il mulino, all drinks at whatever bars, lunches, pool drinks/food and breakfasts. (paid for food only 1 night for dinner because went to my favorite steak house called nine at the palms) my whole tab come checkout was just my tips. so yes, gamble whatever you gamble and make sure you use your card, period!!! but my philosophy is dont gamble more then you can afford to lose, if you dont feel lucky, dont gamble just to put in your time at the tables for comps. i would rather pay for whatever i do than lose thousands at the tables.

I am Gold level at CET props (Harrahs,Caesars etc) and do two AC trips and at least one LV trip a year.I can always count on mid-week comped rooms at the Rio /Harrahs AC and lower ranked props and a few bucks for food comps. That is a lot better than coming in off the street, let them know who you are and playing.Your action tops my play x4,so use that card..
Other props have different policies depends what casinos you frequent..

$25/hand is probably not going to get you a whole lot. Might get you some minimal comps if you play enough hours. You really wanna be $100/hand and up to expect significant comping. For the most part.

Yes,use your card always, especially if your a low to medium scale player.Sooner or later it will pay for some meals, shows and maybe a room or 2. I'm a 7 Star card holder,so I haven't paid for anything in years. Rooms, meals, fights, spas, limos, shows, gift giveaways and free air fare.I love being spoiled by The Rio, Ballys, Showboat, Flamingo, Caesars etc... then again,it's cost me a SHITLOAD OF MONEY to get these free perks

vegas gourmet can offer more insight here, its my understanding tho that over the years these "cards" have become less and less attractive and offer fewer incentives- VG knows more tho

I use the Caesers/Harrahs card and I get pretty solid discounts/free rooms at Ballys, Flamingo, IP, Harrahs, Rio. Not spectacular hotels, but I'm only in the room for about 5hrs to sleep anyway, so if I can save a couple hundred over a 3-4 day trip, that's a couple more sports bets. Also some good show deals (2-4-1 tickets, heavy discounts, all depends on the time and dates you go).

Caesars Total Rewards is definately the way to go for the mid-upper level player and it works at all Caesars properties including outside of Vegas. As a Diamond member, not only do I get all the comps that many have already mentioned including up to 5 days per month at a member property, but Diamond and Seven Star members get access to VIP lounges which are not advertised and give you unlimited free drinks and snacks for you and a guest. You have to tip your server of course. Also, Caesars will let you collect points on sports bets as well although the lines usually are not as good as Cantor books like the M, Hard Rock, Cosmo, Venetian and Trop.
