A few cards away. I will take Kennedy's experience at good odds. While Kennedy's wrestling is not Olympic calibre, it's is pretty good. Just has to avoid the big shot I think and should take a decision, or late finish if Romero tires

I messed up jumping on Kennedy so early, but I still like the play. If Romero can beat Kennedy he is a force to be reckoned with, but Kennedy is a tough out
Masidval I think is better everywhere
Thompson' nemesis is the ground game, which Cote does not really have. He likes to stand and bang and I like Wonderboy to pick him apart. As durable as Cote is, I think he may fall to a late TKO
Everyone is Obviously on DJ. This is a total mismatch. These little guys can go for miles, but the thing I notice about DJ is he's never in trouble and never tired. Between rounds it looks like he just went for a brisk walk. I think he's the safest bet of all the champs right now, and someone he'll find a finish. betting the -1400 is useless, but a run a ITD at a decent line is worth a shot
I am pondering Manny the Anvil. He's solid all around, but Cody more than likely ties him up and outwrestles him for a dec
I don't think I will bet Cruz after the long layoff at those crazy odds. Rolling the dice for sure
Ebersole/Howard should be a fun fight. Howard is also very well rounded. I always feel he's a little small. His take down D is decent, but there is definitely a risk that Ebersole gets him down and submits him. Probably Howard by dec
Cerrone/Alvarez - what a scrap this will be. The Cowboy is on a tear. Both will come out aggressive. FOTY candidate I think. Back and forth battle. Late finish by Cerrone. But really a coin flip as Cerrone puts himself at risk with his aggressive nature
Poirier/Connor - This also has the makings of FOTY. I know how good poirier is. And I like how he has been through some deep battles. I still don't know how good Connor is, although every time out he amazes. I may play Poirier small because he's battle tested and I also kinda hoping McGregor gets his mouth shut for a little while.
Those last two fight s I am looking as forward to as any fights this year

As much as I have ever been disgusted by poor judging... I was totally disgusted by how big john fucked up before the 3rd round allowing Romero to recover on the stool. Romero was done. And that was a difference maker. Sour grapes cuz I was on Kennedy? Maybe. But I've never seen that and john just let it happen

Big john had a double screw up, first the stool incident, then was he trying to get Kennedy killed, my god!!!

im a fan of tim kennedy but he needs to move on and stop complaining
something similar to this happened in boxing about eight years ago when diego corrales intentionally spit out his mouthpiece twice to buy himself time between two knockdowns and then came back to ko castillo; pretty close to the 28 seconds that romero bought himself on the stool on the second knockdown
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0vSpewcMx4
jose luis castillo never used the mouthpiece incident as a reason for why he lost
