So I fought, clawed, scratched my way to a 4-4(+9.10) in the fights and 1-2(-0.80) in the O/U. I'll be back later to offer my insights and this goofy night.

Where do I start about last night: Poor judging, poor stops, poor coaching and poor fighter IQ all wrapped up in one zany night. Let's start from the top: Dillashaw isn't a fluke and isn't no joke!!!!!!!! Barao and his training, now that's another story and his corner even worse. Cupcake look great and Eye looked lost. Thought Felder didn't pressure Barboza enough and Barboza could have kicked Felder's leg off if he wanted too. Joe Lauzon is a class act, we need more people in the world like him!!!!!!!!!!! Lawlor wins on a fast stop, I had him but I thought Villante should have got at least 30 seconds to recover, they are 205lbs. I had Miller winning 30-27, so I was to put it mildily I was pissed off at a split decision. Had Robertson, 2nd round was very tight IMO I thought Saunders did enough to win. Caraway wins a ugly fight, wasn't impressed nor was Wineland. Didn't watch the fight pass events but Cruickshank should be cut. My final salvo is this Nijem(-140) in Vegas they call these sucker bets, I didn't get sucked in many did and I feel for them and you add the awful judging makes for a long start to a UFC night.
I wanna add a feature to my afterwards comments, THE CUT LIST!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I can help out Dana White with this list, here goes: Duke. Phillips after her next fight, lol. Cruickshank, Bellator awaits you Detroit Superstar!!!!!!!! Gomi should retire. Not cutting him but Miller move down to 145 and Barao move up to 145!!!!!!!

I thought Vallente stoppage was insanely quick. You compare that to barao taking about 5 shots after he was out on his feet.
I don't get your Caraway complaints. That is the type of fights he wins, in fact he struck more in that fight than most because Wineland was stuffing TDs. Wineland looked lost. tough to recover from the broken jaw and layoff. He's usually more aggressive but I was surprised by his performance before that so i think he's at the end of his tier 1 road.
I didn't see Cruicshank fight either, but he looked a little drained at weigh ins, but he couldn't possibly move up a weight class
Saunders did enough to win, in fact round 3 would not have been out of the realm to be 10-8. He had Kenny tied up and beat his skull for several minutes.
Miller on the other hand, snuck that out by the skin of his teeth - very close fight. I give him a lot of credit for trying to win the fight in the 1st by leaving full mount for a sub. And he has always been undersized - you're right, a trip to 45 might get him a titleshot if he has 3-4 fights left in him
I think Felder looked pretty good in his loss. Barboza is definitely a better striker, and faster. Barboza's chin held up better than I thought it might

ferrari if you are claiming that you knew nijem would statistially win the fight, in which probably over 90 percent of people probably thought that he won, yet lose on the cards i have no angle whatsover on that theory. hollbrook is a midwesterner fighting in a midwest town against a semetic guy and thats about as close as i could get.
i heged out of gonzalez against pascal last night at a profit because of the potential of a robbery but thats a promoters fighter fighting on a promoters card.
other than possible racism the nijem outcome was just a bad decision
hollbrook lost the fight and anyone that bet on him got lucky

Not complaining about Caraway as much as he will be a TOP 5 guy and he does nothing for me!!!!!!!!!!! Now he's pretty good on the ground but he throws one looping punch, terrible at setting up TD's and acts like he's a tough guy. He might be one sloppy win from facing Dillashaw, opening line minus 500, lol. Wineland did look like ring rust and my bad on that play. I agree Saunders 3rd round could and maybe should have been a 10-8 round, I wish more judges would score like that.

Sorry Sawman my computer hit a glitch. Back to Miller now, I think he is a undersized 155 but I thought he controlled the fight. 25 headkicks to his left glove does not mean Castillo wins the round or fight. Miller was stupid in the 1st to even try that move but at least he was going for it, unlike some.

Basically what I was saying Q is Nijem line really never moved where as the Cummins line kept going up. Both guys were fighting similiar short notice guys from the midwest. I feel for the guys who took Nijem more so the Holbrook guys but it's a trap line, all day.

the line went from -120 to -150, a 25 percent move. no different than a -350 going to -435. i had the fight capped at about -150 to -175 becuase ramsey was coming off a ko loss. the short notice was irrelevant when i looked at the fight because if you reserached hollbrook you would know that he boxes as well as mma while he is a boxing instructor at the gym he works at and was already training for another boxing match when the nijme fight was offered to him(i read this in an interview but can no longer find the link)

i have no idea what you mean by a trap line other than you knew that ramsey would lose a fight that he statistcially won and that probably 90 percent of the people that watched the fight thought he won
it was a bad decision. nothing more and nothing less and certainly has nothing to do with any traps any day and all day
