Only 2 more shows to go, i'm going to miss it. Had a solid week last time out, hopefully no regression here.
Filho/Echeverria DOES NOT go distance -240
Echeverria likes to come forward and lay the wood, a bit reckless at times, but not terrible. Filho is polar opposite, but idk how he will respond to Echeverria's pressure. Feels like Echeverria is going to go for the KO stoppage or get subbed trying. Filho has good BJJ, but i feel like matching strength with Echeverria might be a problem for him when grappling. Might take the dog ML here too
Aliev ML -525
Likely will parlay that with the opening fight and possibly the main event. Aliev is only 22, but looks like mini-Khabib and is getting a late replacement in Wick who just isn't nearly on Aliev's level as a wrestler. Was thinking of taking this TO GO Distance since Aliev doesn't have many finishes and Wick has never been finished as a pro, but just can't trust it. Aliev may have incentive to go for the kill on a tryout show like this.
Lane - Jacobi
No play as of now. All of Lane's fights have ended inside the distance and Jacobi has fought nothing but cans until he showed up in LFA and went to a draw. I don't expect this to go the distance
Raul Rosas ML -155
Yes, i'm buying into the hype. Rosas is only 17....but he's 17 going on 32, he's got a great build already for someone so young and is extremely slick on the mat. Mando Gutierrez is a good fighter, but Ramos has a chance to be something special. 17 is young and Ramos might need to weather an early storm from Mando, but i think Rosas finds a submission. I may look like a on this one when all said and done.
Ferreira - Aliu DOES NOT GO DISTANCE
IDK what the line is yet. Aliu punches and kicks hard, but gasses too easily and also leaves his chin widely available when throwing. Ferreira is not the greatest striker, nor does he pressure much, but is very light on his feet and fights loose and confident. I think Ferreira can get this to the ground and get a stoppage there in the 2nd round. Would take Ferreira ML, but Aliu is capable of putting him down.
Lots of dogs so far in these shows, but i have a feeling the favorites shine on this card.
