UFC185…Dos Anjos’ championship moment was the KO over Henderson…really went into that fight ready to prove that he was a championship level fighter…overlooked and with nothing to lose, he seized the moment…Pettis though not a Benson Henderson…kudos to him for making it this far…he’ll make it competitive, but this moment’s to big for him…Pettis takes this inside the distance…normally don’t have as good of a read on the women as I do the men, which is why I normally stay away from wagering the female fights…but not buying the Jedrzejczyk stock…the girl’s got personality, but that wont keep her off her back…she’ll bring it to Esparza early and Esparza will oblige and keep it standing to lull Jedrzejczyk into a false sense of security…then the wrestling clinic begins…see this as a carbon copy of the Namajunas fight…if Esparza doesn’t get the late sub, she wins this on the cards…I often here Fighter A doesn’t deserve to be that high of a favorite over Fighter B…doesn’t really matter if fighter B cant beat fighter A…thus is the case with Cejudo and Cariaso…Cejudo wins this striking, knowing the whole time if at any point it gets dangerous, he’ll put Cariaso on his back…Since Dariush took the Nijem loss all the goodwill he built following his debut win against Brenneman vanished….tonight he gets that back…Dariush by sub or clear decision…S. Pettis getting more comfortable in the cage with each outing…now at the right weight, doesn’t face as much as an uphill battle with bigger opponents…showcase fight for him tonight…not a question of if he’ll get the win but if he’ll get his first finish inside the octagon…Benoit’s going to bring it, but Sergio gets it done inside the distance…Duffy a good talent…will take him a few to get settled into fighting in the UFC for the 1st time and the whole “last man to beat McGregor” hype...but once he does, Lindsey’s got no shot…Duffy by sub
Sides – A.Pettis, C. Esparza, H.Cejudo, B. Dariush, S.Pettis. J. Duffy
