Anybody got any strong opinions here? It seems like 3 months since we've had some decent fights. I was looking at Birchak at + money vs Almeida. Almeida seems like he's 100% balls to the wall and Birchak could catch him in a striking exchange. Maybe the ITD for the fight could be another play. Neither guy wants to fight on the ground it doesn't seem.
I want to bet on Chas "the scrapper" Skelly but need to do some more research on his opponent. In doing my research, I realized I actually met him (and Johnny Bedford) about 7 years ago before Skelly's career had actually started. Sat with them at a poker table for a couple hours right before Bedford fought at the Horseshoe Bossier City. This was well before Bedford was even on TUF. Skelly was just there cornering him. They were both cool dudes and convinced me to go the the arena and watch Johnny's fight. So I called up one of my buddy's and did. Skelly has looked like a tough SOB so far just need to figure out how good Souza is before I bet some money.
That's about it. Need to look into it some more but also considering Glover ITD and maybe Guida. Cowboy O and Hallmann is a nice matchup in addition to Trujillo and weight cut man. Finally a card I can get a little excited about. The end of the year is looking awesome. Had loaded the boat on Gastelum only to have his fight and my bets cancelled vs Brown. Was really looking forward to that too.
