Normally I am on the better wrestler/grapper in the equation because when the fight gets to the ground its very easy for them to not only dominate but erase in the mind of the judges any of the damage that was done previously on the feet. With that being said... I'm not sure Rios wrestling is that far superior to where he's going to be able to over come Cruickshank's tdd... not only that but I don't know if he can close the distance well enough to get that all important takedown.
The other thing that has to weigh in my mind is that I don't a clear cut way for Rios to finish the fight, even if he secures a td i don't think he will b able hurt him before so the idea of him just getting Cruickshank in a bad position to where he will b able to sub him from top or take his back doesn't seem logical. When u look at it from the back end Cruickshank def pos the better stand up and could possibly finish him there... he could also just dance and pick him apart... if he is able to hurt him I could easily see him getting him in a dangerous position and being able to stop the fight.
The only thing I don't love is the line on this. Not a huge fan of laying almost -300 on anyone that doesn't have a strong pedigree in the sport or a champion...
.5-1 unit play on Cruickshank
Caceres vs Pettis
I'm seeing a lot of ppl on Pettis here. I know the kid is talented and is the brother of the champion... and to be honest, I feel like the juice u are paying on this line is for the name of the kid more so than what he has shown us in the cage. Like I said the kid is very talented however, his debut was less than spectacular. The guy they brought in to fight him was on super short notice and normally fights a weight class below what he was fighting. With that being said Caceres is def not small for the division (I believe he fought 155 on his season of TUF and went through a stint in the UFC at 145 if I am not mistaken) he also has had 8 fights in the UFC already so if he's put in a bad spot its' not like he's going to freak out... so it comes down to was Pettis just high on jitters or not...
More or less I will stay away but if anything... I may drop a little bit on Caceres.

Cerrone vs Martins I friggin HATE when lines do this. The common fan doesn't even know who Martins is and Cerrone is a well known fav that is 8 in the world in this weight division. I thought the line would release around Cerrone -250 poss as high as -300.... then I seen the -210... I held off til friday because I wanted to see if it dropped at all due to someone knowing something and the line just plummeting w/the Cerrone that showed up in the Nate Diaz fight making another showing... well it didn't happen... so then I jumped on him... now 5 hrs later the line drops to -165....
If this didn't happen I would make Cowboy a huge play. More seasoned fighter, not scared to be on the big stage, better striker, solid ground game, he's been mixing in tds well... idk just seemed that coming off a fight like the way he came off with Dunham it would seemed that we got a zoned in cowboy that's ready to make another run... I understand the guy he is fighting hits hard... but a victory over Cruickshank isn't all that impressive and taking Gorgel to the dist def isn't... he's never been on a stage this big... the ufc jitters cud have been calmed a lot by the fact that his last fight was in brazil. If the line didn't drop the way it did I wud b all over this... instead...
Cerrone 2u

F*$KING LINE MOVEMENT IF IT stands pat I make it a 4-5u play...
Hoping Gabe keeps good movement, throws his leg kicks early and finds away to get this fight to the ground at some pt just to make things interesting... not gonna put n e action on it...
Want to take Benson in the main but just don't feel the need to rush to lay 3 to 1 on him... imo Thompson beat Gil in their last fight... and Gil gave Benson all he could handle... i know that doesn't necessarily relay in mma.... but Thompson as a whole is a difficult out for n e one... he keeps a lot of awkward movement and throws a lot of kicks and strikes at angles most don't....
Don't know if I wanna put all the profit on the line just to win 1 u...
