I don't think too many people thought he would beat Paul Daley via TKO..
I'm not doubting Nick's ability to put guys away with his strikes, I just find he excels because his opponents often get drawn into exchanging in the pocket, which is a bad idea against him.
If you watch Diaz's fights against Daley, Cyborg, hell, even Mike Aina, you'll see that Diaz isn't great at avoiding damage. The only reason he can afford to do that is because of his legendary durability.
I think GSP is way too smart enough to sit and engage Diaz in the pocket. I think he'll keep his distance by utilizing the jab, move in and out with quick strikes and kicks, but otherwise circle the cage while Diaz moves forward. If George is constantly moving, I think you'll see that Nick won't have much to offer on the feet.

This fight is probably one of those that seem intriguing in the buildup with all the trash talking Diaz will do but.....his weakness has always been wrestling.
What I do like about this fight is that Diaz will make GSp work but it should be another dominating performance for GSP.
