Hamill vs Rampage

I don't see how Hamill is that good?  He is a good solid fighter, but far from elite or anywhere near the top.

Who has he legit beat?  Jardine?  We all know how he's doing these days.  Mark Munoz when he was fighting way above his weight at 205.  Tito Ortiz?

I mean, I like Hamill, but he doesn't have any great wins.  And his wrestling is overrated.  He doesn't really dominate people with his wrestling at all. 

This is not to say he can't win.  Who knows with Page, if he comes in a little out of shape Hamill could out-work him.  But I've seen Hamill gas before.  I just don't see what is to love about him as far as fighting top guys.

But again, like Munoz, he fought Bisping at 205..where he is more suited for 185.  This was also a while back before Bisping had improved so much. 

Hamill is solid, I just don't see what he has.  He is a solid wrestler who throws haymakers.  Page is a solid wrestler who has experience and actual striking.  It is a no bet for me...I don't know where Rampage's head is these days.  He has recently said once he is offered enough movie money he will quit fighting.

Funny stuff. Every fighter has a chance in MMA. I am all over Hamill at +220. I think Rampage at -300 is actually kind of ridiculous. All Rampage really offers is a wrestling background (which will be negated by Hamill's wrestling) and some loopy haymakers. I think Hamill is the hungrier fighter and will end up taking the decision.

I think it could hav gone either way...but, on the other hand, Hammil is no Machida. 

Can someone tell me who Hamill has beat?  I like Hamill, but what has he done that is iimpressive?

Give him Bisping as a win.  So his best wins are Munoz and Bisping, 2 natural 185ers. 

Hamill was handled by Franklin who doesn't have that good of wrestling. (Forrest wrestled him all fight for fock sake) And doesn't have the strength of Rampage.

An in shape Rampage takes this fight.  Hamill hasn't proven he can beat any top 10 LHWs, let alone a top 5.  When he was given a legit guy, Franklin, he got stopped and handled easy.

Only way Hamill loses is if Rampage looks like complete crap.  Rampage's fight to lose.  Hamill offers very little.

i agree, if rampage fights the way we all know he can then it should be an easy win for Rampage but and that is a big but, you never know with rampage, he might come in looking like crap like you said so it makes it hard to bet on rampage at -300 or whatever it is..

it is a no bet for me, i dont see much value in betting either fighter, the odds are pretty much where they should be..

Jackson via decision. Hamill is good enough and tough enough to go the distance with Jackson, who hasn't been very active.

Jackson can win even if his timing is off, but he may not be able to put Hamill away.
