I'm not a UFC/MMA bettor at all. I used to win pretty often fading the current champs years ago cuz most champions never showed any consistency. They'd win the belt and drop it the next fight all the time.
I do know that Jon Jones was the exception to my inconsistent champion strategy. Dude would always win, and win easily for the most part. So he's sitting here at only -170 on the ML and it just dropped to -165. Seems kinda easy to take the guy that never loses.
So is the main reason the line is low because he's hopping up weight classes, or is his opponent really that good?
Boxing is easy. You always take the undefeated favorites at any price because boxing is the most fixed ish ever.

lol so many variables than just moving up in weight. Time off, ring rust, motivation, cardio, gane is no chump, etc. if he’s ok with not trying to make it a flashy win and try to stand up the whole time, I think he’ll just depend on his wrestling and win a decision. But who knows. So many other good fights on the card.

I'm not much into fighting sports. You know the best boxers like Floyd just stick counter everything and win by decision. And MMA seems like they spend 80% of the match on the ground sometimes.
Connor is pretty much done. Got his payday and hasn't been hungry since. And the greats like GSP are long retired.
So Jones is a pretty big draw and one of the only reasons I'll watch.
So everyone have a fun evening tonight. I've got a small bet on Jones for fun. Mainly betting the college tournaments for now.
