Some people in sports have elite talent, and it never gets fulfilled. Maybe because of injury. Maybe because its bad timing. Maybe its because the situation wasn't right. Maybe because they didn't have the true love for a sport.

But it actually hurts me when I see someone with elite talent in sports who doesn't fulfill that talent because of terrible decisions. I know its really hard to know what's going on in those peoples lives, but when I look at Jon Jones from the outside, nothing makes sense about why he isn't the most transcendent star in the sport except he makes bad decisions.

It probably goes much deeper than just "making bad decisions"...the people surrounding him...the environment he grew up in, etc. But I think we are witnessing the greatest waste of pure talent in MMA history.

The guy is champ, and pulls his driving accident stunt...then gets forgiven and headlines the biggest ppv in UFC history and gets popped for PEDs days before...Dana won't hesitate to blackball this guy. He isn't worth the headache. And I can't blame Dana. Might as well put your resources behind guys who can at least make his scheduled fight nights.

The only person who can beat Jon Jones is himself. Hunt is not worthy of a 3 round main event payday. Should have made Edgar/Aldo main event.
