Not a pick for the weak hearted - Rory MacDonald

I have seen this kid Rory MacDonald since he was 16 and fighting 20 to 30 year olds and he was destroying them

Yes Condit is an awesome fighter

But i have seen and trained with this kid and he is the real deal

I am betting on him

not large play of course but worth the dog pick

Condit is a better striker, better grappler, comes from a better MMA training camp, has more fight experience and has taken more top level fighters than MacDonald, however, my money is still on The Waterboy.

he is huge dog but i like his upside

plus for some reason condit has not performed well in the UFC

A huge dog?  According to all the sites I've seen, MacDonald is the favorite.  I think this kid has a lot of potential too, but it's difficult to lay any juice on him in only his second UFC fight against a guy like Condit.

In fact, I'm wondering how he ended up a favorite since no one outside of Canada really knows who he is.

I know I don't, but I do think Macdonald will win considering he has better wrestling and will get on top in what will be a competitive contest. This is one of those fights - like Miller-Bocek in New Jersey - where if it's remotely close, the crowd's cheers for Macdonald, combined with him gaining top position even if it proves fruitless, could very well see him win a fight he doesn't even win in a real sense.

Rory has better wrestling and a better stand up game(mainly for defensive purposes)

I think a better bet is a prop for this to be fight of the night.
