I have to be honest, one of the reasons I raised my bet on Rashad was because of what his trainer said on the Countdown show. He said Rampage trains like they did 10 years ago. I thought the exact the same thing when I was watching the show. His training was basically running, swimming and sparring. In today's world of MMA, that just isn't good enough. It isn't all about who is meaner anymore. You have to train like a world class athlete to be successful. I still believe Rampage is the superior fighter but in my opinion long lay off and lack of proper training like you mentioned are the reasons why he lost the fight.

Evans deserved the win for sure, but he was so lucky that he didn't get knocked out. Jackson had a chance to put him away, but I really think he was afraid of Evans.
He saw how Evans got up after he put him down with some vicious hits [some that landed and some didn't] and he was probably shocked to see him get up. I ask myself how the hell Jackson didn't finish Evans off when you could clearly see he was woozy. Jackson failed.
