I found that somewhat amusing. He even said, something along the lines of "You don't have to hit them hard just keep hitting to show they can't defend themselves"... Or something like that.

Yeah, you're right. I also like your take on why Roy Didn't pound the shit out of Slice when he had the chance. You are a pretty smart guy when it comes to this shit.

Like I said before, this show is all smoke and mirrors. It is ridiculously edited.
 
90% of the retards at Sherdog are bitching that the fight should not have been stopped because Roy was barely hitting him. Most of the posters at that site are complete retards.
 
Trust me, Roy COULD have really fucked Slice up bad, but that wasn't part of the plan.(I am sure Roy was told if the fight went to the ground like it did, that he was not supposed to hurt Slice Too bad)
 
Now I know why Roy said that he "Wished" this was a Live televised fight or PPV and why Kimbo was "Happy with his performance" and he can't cry about the outcome.
 
Damn straight he can't cry, he was lucky he didn't get pounded into oblivion in the first round. I would be happy as hell to get out of that position that he was in unscathed... Twice.
 
Look at the Seth Petruzelli fight... Kimbo got fucked up in what? 16 seconds. His eye was cut open and everything.
 
I Garantee if this was a "Real" fight that was being brodcast Live, Roy would have REALLY let Kimbo have it.

very good points... nelson could of easily fucked up kimbo hard, he had him down and kimbo was totally helpless.  Luckily for kimbo, Nelson did not want to rearrange his face.

Couldn't agree with you more crow! I'm also on sherdog pretty often and the people on that site's forum put this sport to shame with their ignorant comments and childish rants. I mean okay, Roy didn't really finish him in devastating fashion like many would have liked, but at the same time the dude predicted how he was going to end the fight beforehand and then actually went out there and did exactly what he said he was going to! How often can fighters call the finish of their fights and actually go out there and do it? Not many as far as I recall and I've been watching this stuff for a while.

Regardless of hw hard he was hitting him, He would have won the decision even if Herb Dean let him pound on him for the rest of the round.
 
I admit that I would have liked to see something more spectacular in this fight, but it went down exactly how it should have. I am still confused as to why Kimbo claimed that he was happy with his performance though. Kimbo needs alot of work.

the way Kimbo talked in the interviews during the show just told us that he was gonna loose.. he said "Win or Loose im gonna come to fight" why would he say loose? he shouldn't be thinking he is gonna loose at all

I agree Joker, there were SOOOO many thing that gave this fight's results away, yet you were just never 100% until you got to actually see the fight with your own eyes.
 
Christ, I read a rumor that they fought twice.
