Had a preeeeety strong hunch some BS would happen if the fight was this close. McGregs called his shot on Jim Rome's show this week:
"this WILL be a Trilogy series...it will take 3 fights to settle this"
Only thing is, he supposedly called that for the final fight he'll make Diaz come to HIS weight class.
If any of you guys listen to the show, you know how much CM likes to call shots. Be it a KO in a specific round, a certain style of punch or punches, even a time of finish. So when he comes back and declares that it's going to a 3rd fight...and the odds keep him favored...you have to remember that much. He gets his way.
I hated how much crap he got away with for basically demanding a rematch after the loss, but acting like Diaz needed the fight more. He also made more money, and refused to put the belt on the line...but Nate was the desperate one (allegedly, Rome). Phuck, Monday's show is gonna suck large with all the bandwagoners.
Hopefully you got a piece of the In-game action after the 3rd when Nate went from +340 to -1300...and CM was like +525.
