Why should I care? It doesn't affect my life one way or the other. I watch sports to be entertained and it's entertaining either way. In fact, one could argue that it's more entertaining. Don't mistake that as me condoning it or hoping guys cheat. I wish they didn't for numerous reasons. But, I also am not going to get all worked up about it if they do. That's above my pay grade. I simply want entertainment, and that comes either way. I'll let the people who are truly affected by doping worry about that problem.
But, that's just me. I understand why it upsets people and I'm not trying to convince anyone to see it differently. Just sharing my view on it.
I wonder - suppose they had two competing leagues: one where juicing was legal and another where everyone was clean. I wonder which would ultimately end up being more entertaining? More popular?

I always wondered the same thing about baseball, when they were all juicing, the league that was not regulated would def have the better fights, the problem is when your dealing with health, you need to try and have a level playing field.

What's funny is that in the highest levels of competition Jiu jitsu, there is very little or 0 testing. In Pride, guys were encouraged to juice. In high level kickboxing, there is very limited testing. In point fighting, there is almost 0 testing. In college wrestling, there's very limited testing.
I'm not saying I'm for guys juicing, but in order to get to the ufc, almost everyone does it at some point. Once you get there, it's hard to say "no". In no sports are guys tested all the time, so it's easy to use if you have the discipline and resources.
They should be working to making things safer - it's not possible to make any sport 'clean'.

I care a lot. MMA his my biggest passion in life and i want to know who his the best, and for that question to be answered, everyone must be playing on equal settings. Plus i care about a lot about these people, and it destroys their body, but they used to have to do it because most other fighters were doing it and they did not want to be at a disadvantage.
Now that testing have increased tenfold over the last few years, we will see a change in that, which his good because we will be able to see who his the greatest and not who uses the best PED.

lost your mind if you don't think it makes you better and everyone would watch the one where everyone is juicing, look how much longer it takes guys to recover and look at the guys Ufc has lost since the testing another way to police people

Also one critical factor is speeding up recovery time from injuries, which every fighter gets in training
That's the biggest benefit for all athletes. Let's say you're a pro golfer. On average, your body can only take 36 holes per day, 4 days a week (or whatever -- I don't golf). If you can take something to increase your practice to more holes, more times per week and those reps help you make $300,000 extra per year, of course you're gonna do it.
The testing has changed so drastically in the last year for mma and if other sports had the same changes, you'd have the same results. This isn't a uniquely mma thing. Other athletes are just better at beating their system.
I remember hearing stories about drug use in cycling during the Armstrong days. Guys would take so much dope that, in the middle of the night during races, guys would need to wake up and ride 10-15 miles so their bodies wouldn't shock.

it will be best time for someone to start a mma league without testing and it would take over just like most business leaving America to many laws and taxes. (grown men they can choose for themselves) see how baseball was when everyone was hitting homeruns and now 1 to 0 soccer game land of the free
