I love the underdogs in these matchups, theres no way in hell rampage should ever be a +310 dog and JDS looks unstoppable right now.

I'm going to go against the "recency effect" and think that the champs cruise in both of these.

JBJ is way too fast for Rampage. I think he will just pick apart a slow lumbering Rampage.

I think JDS won't be able to pick apart Cain like he did against a slow, aging Carwin. Cain also has much better wrestling than Carwin and should be able to get JDS to the ground.

  i think u hit the nail on the head....it seems people get caught up in a recent performance to easily......  the heavy juice might make me lay off bones but i will be all over cain at less then -150

I think the line on Jones-Rampage is too high.  Rampage hasn't looked awesome, but after his long layoff he lost a decision to Evans, somehow got the decision against Machida in what should have been a draw, and had zero trouble with Hamill.  It's not like he has been fighting duds, he fought two of the best guys in the division and has done just fine.  I thought Rua was a no show with long layoff hangover, so this should be Jones toughest matchup by far.

I think the line for the other one looks ok, though I do like JDS more in that one, Cain hasn't fought in a while.

i dont think rampage has much of a chance to beat Bones but im not a big fan of those odds, i hate betting massive favorites but i might put Jones in a parlay or something for fun..

As for Cain and JDS, i think JDS has a strong chance to beat Cain, i think its pretty much flip a coin there.

Cain hasnt faced anyone even close to the standup of JDS and when he did (Kongo) he got rocked a few times very badly. If Kongo had anything that resembled takedown defence he prolly would have won that fight. Sure Cain has prolly a bit better takedowns and wrestling then Carwin but its not by miles and Carwin the the more top heavy between him and Cain and he wasnt able to keep JDS on the ground whatsoever. I think the one thing we should take most from the JDS/Carwin fight was that JDS takedown defence and scrambling once taken down was excellant. These guys at blackhouse have really no weakness's and are wonderfull off there back.

I think this fight goes down alot like the one we just saw. Cain trys for takedowns, JDS stuffs them and is the more superior fighter. I could very well see a JDS knockout in this fight. I still dont think we've seen the best from him and I think hes the best heavyweight in the division. At plus odds, Ill definitely be behind him in this fight.

You're absolutely right, Cain did get rocked by Kongo but I personally feel the shot from Kongo where Cain buckled to the ground for a brief moment would have put to sleep just about anyone else. In my opinion it proved to me that Cain has a great chin and can take a punch.

As for the Carwin/JDS fight, I don't recall seeing any crisp, fluid takedown attempts by Carwin. They were rather slow and telegraphed. Were they as bad as Hamill's in his fight against Rampage? No but they were still not that good to be honest. Cain is younger and much more explosive and will offer a much better barometer of just how good JDS's TDD is.

Also lets not forget the flurry/beating Carwin took in the 1st round, I think that definitely affected Carwin's takedown ability making JDS look a bit better then he actually is.

Jones is superior in everything....I wouldn't take Rampage if he was +600

JDS on the other hand is a very live dog with a decent chance to win the fight.

Carwin wasn't even a Division I wrestler.  Cain has technique, speed and talent that would outclass Carwin just like it did Lesnar.  Cain and Carwin are not comparable at all.  Dos Santos will be taken down, at will, and even if he gets up, he will be taken down again.  Cigano is the 2nd best HW in the UFC, but Cain is the best and he will prove why.

Also, Linny likes Rampage?  Hahaha.  I'll post again in another few months.

What's up MS?  I have just been busy working, doing the family thing etc.  The last time I was on here a few months back there were a few haters that made posting here not worth my time.  I have been checking out plays though and just surfing through for a little bit.  How have you been?

By the way, Cain is easy money against JDS.  I like JDS, I bet him really heavy last week, and I have been a fan of his before he even made his UFC debut.  But I'm a bigger fan of money, and Cain is all wrong for him.  Rampage is obviously shot these days and lacks motivation to be an elite fighter.  I think Jones is overrated, and has cardio questions, but he will likely destroy Rampage inside a round or two.

 I will be all over Cain if he wasn't coming off such a long layoff and who knows how his right arm will react when he punches. I still like Cain in this one though but can't make it a big play since he's coming off injury

Everyone brings up the Congo fight. Hey he just got hit with some clean right hands. Those would have dropped anyone. The fact is he recovered instantly and took him down. They also say Cain has pillow hands but that doesn't stop him from whipping some ass. I think he will take JDS down pretty much at will. I wouldn't look into the Carwin fight too much...his wrestling is different from Cain's. Actually I'm wondering if JDS can go 5 rounds. He hasn't been able to take out Carwin or Roy Nelson in his past 2. How will he react when Cain is still there in round 4 and 5
