Last event 0-3 minus 800. YTD 44-25 plus 1260.
Looking to bounce back from a terrible event last week. Follow my picks at your own risk.
100/110 Rory MacDonald- Fight is very tough to call. Woodley has wrestling & power, but don't see him imposing his will on Rory. Rory will use the jab to keep distance & I can see him getting a close decision. Both of their cardio are question marks, but Woodley loses explosiveness which he needs after about the 8 minute mark. See Rory winning a boring fight.
140/100 Ryan Bader- Also close fight, but I'm pretty confident Bader can smother him in 1st round to avoid the big punch. Bader needs to fight smart & can win this fight if he does, if gets in brawl it is a toss up. Fejao has never been in a decision, so take him down & test cardio. May add more if other fights go well.
280/200 Brendan Schaub- Schaub will be a damn fool if he doesn't take this to the ground ASAP like he did in Mitrione fight. His chin is to suspect to bang with anyone yet alone an ex UFC champ. Grind this out & should get a submission victory,
145/100- OSP- Jimmo is a good prospect, but I like OSP to keep fight standing & use technique to get an early TKO.
As always any advice is appreciated & needed. In a tiny slump right now & really want to have a 4-0 or 3-1 night to get last weeks taste out of my mouth. Good luck to all that play this card.
