Great event for me, starting as early as two weeks ago when I bet that
Conor McGregor would fight Chad Mendes tonight instead of Jose Aldo to
win $217. I also took Conor at his word that he would win in round 2 for
a nice profit on minimal risk in this hard to predict main event. In
the co-main event I really believed in Robbie Lawler pre-fight and in
live betting after he said he was going to knock Rory's behind out at the
weigh-ins and that paid off handsomely too! I posted most of my live bets in the live thread for those that were reading along. Sorry to those that lost
tonight.

I had it 2-2 as well, but I was thinking the judges scores would be all over the map
i had lawler rounds 1 and 2 with rory rounds three and possibly four. even though rory outstruck robbie in the fourth i believe that the more signifcant strikes were landed by robbie as was the case in the first round.
i have no idea how anyone could give rory the first round when punch stats are equal while one fighter suffers a broken nose from a punch and not a foul or headbut
that one strike was the most significant in the entire fight and somehow robbie loses that round with all other things being equal

I bet Robbie in between round 1 & 2 after he stuffed Rory's first takedown attempt. I personally thought it should have been two rounds each going into round 5 and that Robbie could have- and should have- won a decision if he clearly won round 5. But I was happy as hell that my big odds Robbie wins in round 5 prop hit!
