I agree with you Dave...all except for DC looking slow, he always looks fat. But the UFC has got to find a better way to deter fighters from continuingly eye pokes. Why wouldn't you do it? A warning for a fight changer?? DC did it and got warned then if you watch the clinch right before the KO he did the exact same thing and missed the poke!! A finger in the eye while coming in will make anyone hesitant and it only takes a second to be stunned and can lead obviously to being KO'd.
I can't believe more isn't being made of this. Stipe too much of a good guy to bring it up like most other fighters would which is why it's kinda water under the bridge but just look at the last sequence and compare it to where DC got warned...he did the exact same thing! He is leading with his left hand fingers out. Why warn him if you're gonna let him do the same exact thing with no reprecussions.
And F this Lesnar BS!! Why?? What has penis chest ever done to deserve this?? Cmon DC...calling for this fight hurts your legacy IMO. I hate the person that Jones has turned into but this makes me want him to come back for the trilogy

Pretty sure he was warned four times about his fingers, and ironically the last time Stipe was knocked out was against Stefan Struve also moments after an eye poke. Miocic is not one to make any excuses.
At this point Cormier says he has two fights left, one in the fall and one next spring and all he cares about is money fights. With Lesnar unavailable until January, DC has even suggested a fight with Mauricio Rua who is fighting this Sunday in the Main Event against Anthony Smith. With Yoel Romero moving up to 205 now, I could see that as a potential matchup for Cormier, or a rematch with Miocic.
