Alright gents great card ahead of us. BOL to everyone tonight
Alex Pereira ML -120
Love Poatan in this spot, especially now that Ankalaev has poked the bear. I'd imagine this one will last into the late 2nd/early 3rd round but I see the champ finding the kill shot at some point. Pereira by KO/TKO (+140)
Rafael Fiziev ML -155
I love Justin Gaethje as both a bettor and a fan but it's hard to get past the beating he took from Holloway at UFC 300 for every bit of 24:57 before being KO'd cold. This fight is a rematch from a few years ago where Gaethje won a tight decision over Fiziev. I see the tables turning this time in the younger fighter's favor, as Fiziev has been on the sidelines itching to fight for some time now. This is a short notice replacement bout (around two weeks notice) as Dan Hooker pulled out with injury. FYI
Ignacio Bahamondes ML -125
Got to see Ignacio live in person at the Sphere event last year and man, is this guy's striking on another level. His opponent, Jalin Turner has fought some top 10 killers over his ufc run, but I see Bahamondes taking this one. Both guys are very live for the knockout, so I do lean Bahamondes by KO (+320) as well as U2.5 rounds (-156)
Mauricio Ruffy ML - 500 By KO/TKO +120
Out of the hottest gym in the ufc right now - The Fighting Nerds, this dude Ruffy is gonna put on a show tonight. They say he may be the most talented of all the fighting nerds, which is pretty remarkable considering some of the guys he trains with. I would be shocked if he didn't KO "King" Green cold. Love the Ruffy R1/R2 KO at +150 as well
Joshua Van ML -155
Also got the pleasure of seeing Van perform live at the sphere last year - this dude is 23 years old and already one of the best strikers in the division. This is a pretty binary matchup of striker vs grappler here with his opponent Rei Tsuruya, where I favor the striker. A good way to attack this fight is also fight does not go to decision (FDGTD) at +135. Van by KO (+320) and Tsuruya by submission (+700) both have great value. Have a small personal play on Van round 2/3 KO at (+700)
Will have more picks as the night goes on, may attack some of the prelim fights from a prop perspective
