First fight was close considering Claudia got dropped in the first round. I thought she came back and won round 2 and 3 but Joanna got the nod. Claudia advantages in this fight are her takedown and ground work, she also can throw hands too which will give Joanna something else to think about. Joanna muy Thai is on another level and her cardio is world's above Claudia. All of Claudia muscle will require energy and her style is taxing. 5 rounder is def advantage joanna Both of them are tough as shit. I have this fight hedged but if I were to lean towards a fighter I would say Joanna round 4 or 5 tko.
Aldo vs Edgar 2
Outside of Conor Aldo was the man at FW, so you cannot over look his past accomplishments. Aldo leg kicks played a big factor in the first fight. Both fighters match up pretty well skill wise. I like Edgar in this fight simply cause Edgar is only looking better each fight. After seeing the cub Swanson and Chad Mendes fight, he looks like a man on a mission. Who knows which Aldo will come out. Aldo has a lot of mile on his body and this new Usada testing is making a lot fighters look different. Edgar by tko.
Gastellum vs Hendricks
Both have similar styles, I think Kelvin's footwork is a little better. Gastellum is looking to place himself back inside title contention talk. Hendricks last fight was crazy. He did look like a shell of the man who knocked out Fitch, or went 5 rounds with Lawler twice. I personally believe Hendricks is off the sauce. I like Gastellum in this fight, he is young, and will out strike the former champion to make his claim that he belongs in WW. Now wait for the weigh in's. Gastellum by decision.
Ross Pearson vs Will Brooks
UFC brass is throwing Will into the fire here. Pearson is an animal at 155 and has fought some very talented guys. His fight with Felder was on point. Brooks as fought some legit competition too and his record speaks for itself. I like the value in person here. Last I checked he was +315, that's all I need to know. Pearson by decision.
