Here's the deal...
As games of this magnitude have been around the game for years and years, it all comes down to one thing. The fact here is that the boston redsox are a very stubborn team. They have been a team that has known to strike fear in the eyes of opponnents throughout the entire regular season. Yet, for some reason they have decided to put themselves into a hole, with the most important game of the season happenning this evening...
Now, instead of copying and pasting statistics and trends from various websites, like most people do, I will tell you why the Redsox win tonight with simple reasoning...
The Tampa Bay Devilrays's bats are on fire....true...but, what do you think is going to happen to those FASTBALL hitting bats, when a knuckleball is floating and fluttering its way to the strike zone. It is going to be a complete screw-up for all Tampa hitters after having to catch up to a 95 mph jon lester fastball all day yesterday....Next, the Boston Redsox, to make an analogy are playing possum right now, in that all hope has completely been giving up on them...I happen to feel the exact opposite. Tonight you will see a boston lineup put up some serious, seroius, seroius this evening. Truth be told, so much more is riding on the Redsox than the Devil Rays for this game, so basically a loss for Tampa is acceptable, where a loss for Boston is unacceptable. And I can GUARENTEE that Francona tore that lineup a new asshole after last night's game....
