I'm not new to Covers but first time keeping track of my picks. I've been hot and I want to start putting a run together to make everyone some money. My picks will always come with a small write up of why I selected my winner! Follow if you want to make some money, fade if you want to lose!
First up:
Nationals -136
Don't get too caught up in the Diamondbacks crushing the Nationals yesterday. Strasburg has something wrong with him and he will hit the DL soon. Nationals are still the hottest team in baseball and will take advantage of Jeremy Hellickson who is horrible this year. Gio Gonzalez has been on fire his last few starts and I'm expecting a bounce back game for the Nats today
Cardinals/Indians over 7.5
Not only are Indians on a crazy over streak right now, but they're facing a very potent Cardinals lineup with an added DH. Kluber is not the same CY Young pitcher he was last year, but I do expect a bounce back game from him today. That being said, bounce back means giving up 2 or 3 runs through 6 innings. Then we get at least 3 innings from the Indians shitty bullpen! Add to that, John Lackey is not the same pitcher away from home. I think he gets shelled today with no less than 4-5 runs given up. Take the over streak the Indians are riding right now, should be runs early and often!
White Sox +109
So the Brewers are playing better than they were to start the season, big whoop. They have a very inconsistent starter on the mound in Nelson, who has swing and miss stuff but can be wild, I think it was 2-3 starts ago he gave up 9 runs in like 2-3 innings of work. Jose Quintanta has been a bet on pitcher for me the last couple years and he seems ready for a breakout game in 2015! His only other start against the Brewers he went 8 innings for an easy victory. White Sox are starting to play like we thought all year and are going for 3 straight series wins tonight against a team and pitcher they should beat.
Mets -110
I have to back Matt Harvey here. He is the #1 the Mets need to step up in scoring droughts like they are going through now. He lost last start and two in a row is a rarity for him. Also, Mets have lost first two vs the cubs of this 4 game set, they need this to just have a chance to split the series. Throw in that Jason Hammell is 0-2 with a 6.00 ERA against the Mets in his career and I think Mets roll tonight and get Harveys 6th win of they year!

Yesterday didn't pan out like I would have liked. Got lucky with the Nats and a tough loss with the Mets. Cardinals never had a chance to get over 7.5. Then Chicago did everything I thought they would.
Today: Yankees -115
One play so far, may post more later. Yankees have owned this series in the recent years, winning 7 out of the last 10. They scored first in each of the last two and gave up the leads which turned into losses. Whitley just faced these Rays on April 28th and pitched 5 innings and have up 1 run. On the other side, Ramirez pitches for the Rays who in my mind is the worst starter in the big leauges. His last win was April 1st of 2014, since then he has gone 0-7 with a 6.12 ERA. I am betting against him every chance I get, especially with a hungry Yankees lineup eager to avoid the sweep
