@barneybeans "I know this is ST and a crap shoot, Bauer pitching with one eye closed (you can't make this shit up), but how are you guys taking sides before the lineups are out?" I know you ain't gonna believe this either, but the lineups are about as irrelevant as the pitching. the two starters stymie both offenses, then are replaced, along with the starting position/offense lineup and all is as you said in the first place, a crap shoot. I don't know what sac or anyone else does but I played 10 games so far, 1 favorite and 9 dogs. The favorite lost, the 9 dogs went 6-3, which hardens my attitude, no favorites in spring training. If any of that makes sense you are welcome to it.

Indians third baseman José Ramírez and slugger Franmil Reyes have been isolated from their teammates at spring training after breaking COVID-19 protocols.
Just goes to show you how serious the established players feel about Spring Training and the protocols. Guys that are assured of a roster spot don't give a rat's fat azz about it one way or the other. Teams like the Marlins and Tigers are winning because EVERY job is up for grabs and they all want a shot at the big time.

For someone that just made up that whole story to end it with YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS SHIT UP seems a tad out of place, like trying to cap a pre-season game, no way can you cap this shit.

If it was a true crap shoot, Barney, Key, BigD and I would be 50%. Of all the crap and shottin' the shit we are talking, there's got to be something we're doing right.
For now

This. Look at the Pirates young guns who are getting valuable innings in a relief role thus far. Smoking young hitters.
Add the Brewers and Astros to list. The Dodgers(as usual) have some good looking arms.
Key is right about the Marlins and Tigers.
As we get to the later part of spring training, we will see the true starters for teams get more time in. Then we'll see what players actually care about warming up heading into the regular season.

Don't you think as all these states open up and in Calif. they have said Arenas and Stadiums are going to open April 1st, so with all these venues opening up how will that affect sports again if they are jumping the gun again because Biden has said it is not a good thing to do at this time. And the Calif. Gov. is trying to keep from getting impeach by opening up quicker, cases are down lets hope it keeps going but the number of dead has not stop rising so lets hope the vaccine gets out there, in Calif. they have said it ok to give it to other groups now but we do not have any vaccine to sign up for.
So lets hope for a true baseball season without finding out after you put in a play the team you bet on is missing 5 starters.

Comment: So, the Rockies with two hits beat the White Sux 1-0. Bookies should have posted a total of 5, then they would have cleaned up on the over. But it would also lead to well founded accusations of a fix. See how smart they are? Thousands of fixed games every year but they never leave the evidence behind. Master criminals. I am awestruck.
