gotta head out real quick no real time to finish write ups........in a nutshell...
kc/det under...it is rainy and wet...and very cold for july...greinke is 2 and 0 this year vs det in 18 innings only 1 earned run allowed and 10 and 4 in his career witha 2.69 era.....not one kc hitter has yet to face mr french giving him a big advantage the first time thru the order...also kc has scored 4 or fewer runs in 9 of their 12 road starts against a left handed starter and 3 or fewer in 8 of hose...the last time they scored more than 4 against a lefty was back in early may when this team was playing way above their heads....if det can keep kc under 4...this should stay comfortably under the number
other writeups may or may not make it up in time....

Missed the MILW writeup as I had to run around.....
TEX....This is mainly a BIG PLAY fade on a not so healthy ervin santana, especially getting +money I just couldnt pass it up. ervin reminds me of how he pitched in 2007 where he was 7 and 14 with a 5.92 ERA. In his last start coming off the DL santana threw 99 pitches and allowed 6 runs 4 earned and 3 walks. It is just very apparent that this is not the same ervin santana from last year and this is not a healthy ervin santan. Add that to the fact that he has a 6.46 career ERA vs TEX and Santana was hammered at Angels Stadium in his last start against Texas for eight runs on 10 hits, two of them home runs, in 5.2 innings as recently as Sept. 27, 2008 -- this was when he was healthy and in the middle of a 16-7 season. The Mariners, Orioles and White Sox all hit him, and hard, in his past three home rotation turns. Padilla on the other hand is 2 and 0 with a 2.77 era in his last 2 starts at angels stadium. Away from rangers park padilla has a respectable 3,90 era and 1.18 whip compared to his 5.73 era and 1.76 whip at home. The angels are1-4 in Santana's last five starts as a favorite of -110 to -150 and 2-5 in his last seven starts as a favorite. The Rangers are 5-0 in Padilla's last five starts as an underdog of +110 to +150...Also with a healthy josh hamilton in the lineup this is a far superior offense, padilla is the superior pitcher, and you get +money= BIG PLAY TEX
