What was he thinking.  Sending an overweight baserunner with no one out in the second inning.  The guy cost Detroit the game.  If you don't think so, retire from gaming.

hella stupid! I couldn't beleive he actually sent him with no outs...

terrible move. although cant say for sure it cost them the game, and i sure as hell am never going to stop gambling. But if he holds fat ass up, there is a good chance det wins the game

but...

fielder was ahead of the tag...better slide and he's in safely...got zero help from on-deck hitter (peralta i believe) who sees where the throw's coming from and needs to direct the slide....

but in that situation lamont has to be smarter...

potential big inning went by the wayside

I wouldn't say ahead, a tie at best.  Still, first inning with no outs is not a situation to send a guy home on a close throw

3rd base coach thought it was going in the corner and then it kicked out.  From there, it was just great defense by the Giants and they still barely got him.

Stop betting on teams that aren't hitting and you won't have to blame the 3rd base coach for the ONE run they didn't score

and if your going to blame someone, blame Peralta for not being there to help his teammate out by telling him to slide to the outside.

blanco missed the cutoff man...

it was a great piece of improvisation by scutaro...

bottom line: giants are full value for being up 2-0, they are doing all the little things that win games...

The second i saw that fat tub of shit turn 3rd and head I screamed, "WTF"!?!
I woke up my 4 year old from a sound sleep.

Tigers killed a major potential rally with that bone head play.
3rd base coach should hang his head in shame.
just dumb.

he did miss the cutoff man..  the great part is Scoot being there to back it up and throwing a perfect strike to Posey.  And what a great, quick tag by Posey

potential rally?  very doubful.  they had TWO hits the entire game.  Count them..  1,2

and again, the ball kicked back out which the base coach didn't see.  Even the left fielder initially over ran the ball.  Had the ball gone in the corner as expected, Fatboy would have been standing on 3rd picking his ass and then everyone would be screaming, "Why didn't you send him!?" after the shitty hitting tigers didn't get him in

quit blaming the coaches!  Blame the players that play the game.  Peralta should have been there to help Fielder out on the slide.  Tigers mustered only 2 hits for the entire game and their bullpen immediately starts walking guys when they come in.  No way Tigers should have won that game.  

Above all, blame yourself for betting on a team that is playing like such shit right now
