Lean 1 Tigers ML -120 - Never been a huge fan of Jack Flaherty…but he seems to always give his team a chance. Pivettas high strike out rate mixed with his offenses league leading OBP gives the Padres the slight edge just based on balls in play. But this feels like it will be a tight game and come down to a big hit for the Tigers off a Pivetta mistake. I would typically lean Tigers first 5 here with the pens, but I can see Pivetta making a mistake late in his outing. Tigers are 9-2 at home and feeling the crowd.
Lean 2 Marlins ML +100 - simply a good matchup for them. Martinez with the edge over Cabrera when it comes to command. However, Marlins won’t be hesitant to yank Cabrera at home if he’s struggling and sometimes a wild pitcher can be more effective (as a hitter, they are harder to dig in on).
Lean 3 Mets RL +1.5 -140 - Sanchez is an absolute stud, but has been pretty fortunate with the double plays behind him. Majority of bettors will see the starting pitchers here to make their pick. Canning doesn’t have the same stuff as Sanchez, but he is capable of keeping them in the game.
