CLEVELAND GUARDIANS ML +154
@Viennaarsenal84
Houston is indoors yea..
I’d probably hedge out of the bet.. they just traded their best pitcher and got nothing in return at that.. but you feel that in your locker room .. Cleveland players won’t get up for a front office giving up on this year

This… never seen a team half a game out of first completely quit on the season like this. They have no one left to pitch and morale has to be at an all time low.

I know maybe right now it looks odd that Cleveland traded Civale.......but the kid they got for him was raking in high A and AA ball, and Civale doesn't exactly have a history of being lights out. The guy was an auto fade for awhile there.......serviceable sure..........but we aren't talking about elite stuff here. Serious beach ball stuff for awhile....one rung below Lynch and Corbin for almost 2 years there..
If ya look at the teams he has pitched to this season, you may look at his numbers a little bit more objectively. Most of the offenses he has faced are in the bottom half of the league in scoring. Twins, KC twice, Oak, Pitt, Brewers, White Sox.......I mean the guy should have coasted against most of these teams.......Then Boston and Seattle aren't exactly juggernauts. On paper it just looks like Cleveland is just trying to get some offensive youth.....honestly I kinda like the move, they sold high on Civale.......as high as they were probably ever gonna get.

Indians will be just fine. Just not this year. Next year they will have bieber, Mckenzie, bibee, gavin williams and a plethera of minor league talent. Plus a top notch manager. Dont be surprised if they are there at the end in that shit division

@chitownjake007
I agree they are built for the future but they are always built for the future … small market team… sells away talent that they develop … and they can’t develop position players anyway .. they develop pitchers as good as anyone in the AL but not as well as the braves . Then again braves develop talent better then anyone in baseball..
this Cleveland team will continue to be average .. they need to trade beiber for
starters get a good package back from that
