I could not believe that a good team like the Phillies, ahead by 3 runs, would lose. What a nightmare for me. Well today, I think I will double down, enough to get my money back and make a good profit from yesterday's disaster. Phillies will be seeking revenge and will be sending to the mound Sanchez 7-4 ERA 2.96. In 103 innings pitched he has struck out 87 batters.
For the Pirates, they will be sending to the mound Ortiz 4-2 and 2.84 ERA. He has pitched in 25 games, but has only started in 3. The Phillies are the 3rd best hitting team in baseball. They have belted 120 home runs, averaging 4.9 runs per game. The Phillies are a better hitting team and I think they will get their revenge tonight.
So Phillies for me on the ML. Good luck to all.

bullpen edge goes to KC, offense edge goes to KC, runs per game CHW 3.17, KC 4.56
KC is just one game behind the Red Sox in the race for the final AL wild card spot. And with this bet, I get the better team, with the better pitcher, and I'm betting against the worst team in baseball.
Good luck to all.

@umgmu Thanks buddy.
I'm also taking KC on the ML.
CHW Cannon 4.41 ERA (1-3)
KC Singer 3.20 (5-6)

@aron25 You say "what could go wrong" answer: a hell of a lot
@thehuntman Lots of juice you say, well let's hope I don't have to drink all that juice.
Thanks guys for checking in. That's in a few words, my world of gambling. Best of luck to all. And learn from my mistakes. Like thehuntman says, "your learn more from losing than winning". "And you learn to keep on going".

Magiccarpetride correctly noted that Luis Ortiz has started just three times this season. Those starts occurred over his four most recent appearances, and the dude is looking good yet again today. His ERA over his three starts is 1.02, and so far he’s dragged that under 1.00 with his taming of the vaunted Phillies offense through 6 innings today.

You definitely learn how to keep going but doubling down on a loss isn't a very smart proposition. Now your deep in the hole after just 2 losses.
