I still love that unique batting stance of Jose Cruz Sr. He had that lumber raised like fishing pole. Also the accomplishment of Biggio to go from all star catcher to all star second baseman and the 3000 hits 300 stolen bases and 291 homers and 285 hit by pitches 2 short of the all time record

Let us not forget the enigmatic Jose Lima time, Believe it! He had a 20 win season, but then they built minute maid park and it ruined his career. That place was a band box when first built, particularly during the steroid era, even pitchers were hitting them into the Crawford boxes.
So Lima time had disastrous season them got bounced around and eventually died way before his time, when the passions fire burns out...

Unlike Lima, Mike Hampton got out just in time then went to the world series with the Mets, but instead of learning the lesson from Jose in pitching in band box he goes on to sign big contract with Colorado and same deal career goes down the drain. Damn shame cuz he was such a good hitter, too

I have a slight problem adding clubhouse cancers like Carl Everett. IMHO when players bring down their teammates with temper tantrums, this is team game you can't be taking other players out of their rhythms and be considered great
