Only way to win is to not be them...every day that goes by I feel like a winner just because I didn't play them...they are not going to make the playoffs and so they should be a no play from here on out...no team from Chicago will be in the playoffs...that's windy

Counsell hasn't been impressive. But you gotta give him two more years. He walked into this shit team made by a shit gm for a garbage owner. 

They have a ton of bad contracts they are stuck with. Not one star on this team. NONE.

I had the same problem with St Louis. Could never win their games whether it was for or against them. So about a decade ago I stopped betting on them in any shape or form. Problem solved.

It would probably take every home game attendee to wear a paper bag over their faces for Cubs ownership to take action.

 Bullpen is absolute trash.  25 blown saves this year.  Hoyer penny pinches on the bullpen every year but blew up in his face in 2024.  Add that with Hendricks first 10 starts or so and you left a lot of wins on the table.  The number 1, 2, and 3 priorities in the off-season should be finding a legit closer.  

Brewers win division with Yelich banged up, the traded their ace Burnes and DL Hall who came in the trade, is/was banged up for a majority this season.
