Anyone autoplay the over w/ wind blowing out at Wrigley?

The autorule is to play over when the wind is blowing out 15mph or more at Wrigley... 

 

Anyone have a history with this bet and how it has worked out for you with wind blowing out and an inflated O/U line....

Wouldn’t pitching factor in more than hitting?

If you have a bum pitcher it’s a no brainer.

I'd be careful of Gray and Hendricks.  Both are decent ground ball pitchers and 11 is pretty high

Plus the winds at wrigley tend to change during live gm action

Pretty sure wind was blowing out yesterday when I checked and I played the under based on the recent run production of Cubs and Rockies.

Yes, 15 mph SW winds is an auto very agressive over play. Randy Johnson vs Roger Clemons and it's still going over. The key is it has to be Southwest wind which is straight out to center. Yesterday was South wind (out to left) and was a pitcher duel. Unload today on the over 11 and everyday the rest of your life with 15 or more Southwest at Wrigley.

So you're saying it's an auto play but you are asking for data on the play?

I'm not saying it's not a good play but shouldn't YOU have some kind of data before spewing about how it's an auto play?

I've lived in Chicago for 30+ years, and have seen plenty of unders with average pitchers and Gale force winds blowing out!
I've also seen baseball's fly like kites when it's blowing out, but my point is, that it's NEVER an auto bet, especially for your entire bankroll...
NEVER risk it all...  NEVER

Thanks, yeah nothing about entire bankrolll... just seen this record play a number of times before and have seen this to be a rule - nothing is 100% or even 75% for that matter but over the course of a season, ive anecdotally heard this rule makes $$$

 

I was leaning towards cubs -0.5 f5 given runs should be scored and this sets up much better for Henricks... maddon and his crazy lineups though - this one is just silly.. Staying away
