For a NO play, I look for good pitchers who don&#x27;t tend to start out poorly.  Weak hitting thru cleanup helps also.  Tend to like the NO in the early months because many hitters start out slow in the colder weather.  JMO...

I am ...will continue to bet SF Giants and SD Padres.both always seem to be clutch and score 1st inning..trying it you&#x27;ll see just like in NBA take the Toronto Raptors 1 Quarter they are one of the fastest starting teams... go look up there past games...

Obviously when betting this there is a lot that factors in...

First is pitchers..what is their era, are they slow or fast starters look at there past performances 1 innings runs given up

Next first 4-6 batters on the teams,,what is their batting avg, do they start out hot etc..

Weather is the last factor, is it windy rainy sun in there eyes...

There are some small things but what I listed above are the majority...I will post my 1st inning plays throughout the season

Doesn&#x27;t hurt to check umpires also;  whether they tend to have wide or tight strike zones....

Looked back at the first few full days (not counting that japanese series) last season

Run scored in 1st - No run scored in 1st
4/5: 1-6
4/6: 7-2
4/7: 10-5
4/8: 9-5
4/9: 9-3

seems like colorado, arizona and texas at home were good bets to score in the 1st, yanks overall top team to score in the first. But it also seems to be such a crapshoot to me, since most teams are around 30% range to score a run in the first.
