That Yankees bullpen has been used a LOT the last two difficult days against those mashing Orioles. On Wedneday night, six pitchers pitched 5 innings, and during yesterday's slaughter, six pitchers pitched 6.2 innings. I'm not counting catcher Jose Trevino who pitched the top of the 9th when it was 16-5. Four pitchers (Marinaccio, Gonzalez, Kahnle, and Ferguson) pitched in both games.

 Some extra info: Gonzalez was DFA'd, Marinaccio optioned to AAA. Yankees also signed Phil Bickford and recalled Gomez from AAA.

 You won’t get far with that level of analysis. Have you checked how Rodon has performed after his previous bad outings, all of which were on the road?

I’m on the Padres -147. In hockey I’m on the Panthers +108 as well as the Oilers team total under 2.5 +130. 

I’m also on the D-Backs +1.5 -150 but I’m not sure if the start of that game is still delayed.

I like the Braves today, not because of the pitching, but I believe their bats will be better today. The Braves was in a slump then their superstar went down for the season, took some time, but they have sort of figured out their lineup, and have finally won some games. The Yankees now have a new 1st base and 2nd base player due to injuries and rest, with Verdugo getting the night off, just scoring, I might have to give the edge to the Braves tonight.
