Rangers are the perfect pitching staff for the cubs hitters to demolish - very low strikeout guys who still walk a fair amount of people. When the Cubs make a lot of contact, they tend to really destroy the ball

Cubs should be well rested, hopefully Fowler plays starting Friday. I would expect them to win at least 2 out of 3 and probably win by 3-6+ runs in each game

I wouldn&#x27;t necessarily call Darvish and Hamels "pitch to contact guys" but there is value in what you say. It would be nice for them to have Fowler back since they will face two lefties and he is a good lefty hitter, but I don&#x27;t think it is critical.GL

I think the line should be Cubs-147What&#x27;s elevated this line is Martin Perez&#x27;s recent performances. Umps are taking away the low strike, Perez lives in the lower part of the zone. He needs some of those pitches called strikes to keep hitters honest. If he&#x27;s forced to throw up in the zone the cubs are going to hammer it.Hendricks has been doing a fine job. There&#x27;s not too many finesse pitchers around the league anymore. He throws 2 change ups. A cut change, and a circle change. Hard guy to hit w/ power.
