Pitching matchup, stadium and the fact that many bettors are of the mindset of "they can&#x27;t win every game - especially on the road" and technically they are right - the question is: Is tonight the night HOU plays an average game?There exists a superstition about a long win streak on a publicly perceived slightly above average team which is they are due to crash. I know HOU is great but many CHI/CLE/LAD/BOS/WAS etc fans think HOU is playing above their real level and should regress - or at least lose a game or two here or there. People come out of the wood work to bet against a long streak, ("X is DUE!") and looking at all of Houston&#x27;s starters, tonight is a good night as Keuchel goes tomorrow night and McCullers goes the next day. The line is actually lower than it should be because of the streak, I think.I believe there is value in betting Houston but  DAMN this streak might end tonight, they&#x27;re DUE!So I laid -1 run which you can get now @ -$105 or close to that.

Once again at the current line..Astros or no play.  Value is still with the Astros.  Huge Offense &amp; Bullpen advantage to the Astros.  Homefield means nothing to a team that is 22-6 on the road.

I think that I&#x27;ve seen a couple of sayings. One was to bet against a team once they&#x27;ve won 10 or more. The other was to bet against them the first 5 games after they&#x27;ve lost if they have won 10 or more in a row.IMHO (and I&#x27;m a Royals&#x27; fan), the Astro&#x27;s have a better offense and better pitching to continue their streak for at least 3 more games.

Prefer it if the Astros got whipped 10-0 rather giving up a 7-1 lead and losing it in the 9th.

Can't complain too much. Astros made me an astronomical amount of money these past couple of months. Crazy run, so they were due for a clunker.
