Love Julio Teheran today for a couple reasons. Mainly in his last 3 starts he has given up a total of 8 hits. The problem 4 were home runs. If he stays away from one or two bad pitches today he should hold SF to 1 or 2 runs. He is also good on the road with a 1.66 road ERA this year.
Bumgarner on the other hand seems to have trouble at home with a whopping 5.87 home ERA and a 1-2 record.
Another stat that is very interesting is Atlanta has a 4-1 record against left hand pitchers.
I was actually looking for a larger line when I spotted this match up a couple days ago but the books computer must have seen the same stats. With the Giants
The drawback stat is SF is 10-4 in day games and Atlanta is 6-5 in day games. But in this case I think they get to Bungarner today coming off his big win in LA and Teheran holds them to 1 or 2 runs.
