The Arizona Diamondbacks are barely hanging on to a playoff spot as the MLB season wraps up. They’re only two games ahead of the Braves for the last wild-card spot and stuck in a tie with the Mets, who hold the tiebreaker. If they don’t step it up now then when?

 Be careful when 'mind reading' what a team is thinking. Probably the worst bet is to play a team that is in a "must win" and fighting for a playoff spot. Players can press too hard, not play loose at the plate...
