Its easy to look at how terrible the tigers have been lately, then see casey crosby's 16.20 ERA and the facts that you can get better than even money with the indians and think to yourself wow that seems like free money. I'm not saying the tigers win, but just keep in mind that the indians have been bad this season against lefties. Also Crosby's 16.2 ERA came against the yankees on 2 days notice. Also take a look at the batter by batter breakdown for Crosby:

Marte relieves Crosby

As you can see, Crosby had 1 awful inning that cost him 5 runs, but his 1st and 3rd innings were very impressive for a debut against the yankees.

Last thing I'll say is this, vegas is not stupid. They don't give away free money, especially at + money.

To take the Tigers you have to be chasing. 

tigers have been bad all year, not just lately.  they look uninspired.  manager change in order.  total fade material.

I still haven't decided if I will actually bet the tigers today because as you guys said the tigers are basically running out a mud hens lineup. Wouldn't the better bet be under 9.5? Everyone expected the tigers to be a great over team this year bad part is when their game goes over It's due to horrible pitching but the Detroit pitcher isn't bad. And barring really that one horrible inning against the Yanks he was good. Detroit hitting is awful so seems under would be the play rather than debating a side

I like cleveland even though I know how hard it is to sweep anyone, let alone on the road. Lowe keeps you in games no matter what. Two teams heading in different directions. I got +109 and really looking at this game would have taken cleveland at -130. Obviously could go either way but I can't lay money on Detroit right now the way they are playing.

These are the Tigers..I've blindly let them hurt me over and over..Tribe beat lefty in game one. I'm not into numbers..especially with Detroit playing..it does look too good to be true but if I take Tigers and they lose..I may snap...joking! Maybe Wang and Crosby both shock us today?

Tigers just can't produce runs when they need to. Even with their Ace Verlander thay can't score for him. Its Indians or nothing.
