Here’s my question, is it not smart to make one play a day, always of the same amount instead of throwing out several bets of a lower amount to equal roughly what you would in that one bet?
I mean depending on the juice, you make two $100 bets, win one, lose one; you probably just lost money. Now if you simply took your favorite of the two and placed $200, you only have to win once to win, not twice.
Clearly the argument is if you lose 1 of 2 and not 1 of 1, you’re not losing as much. However, you’re still forcing yourself to require a higher win percentage to make money on a day by day consensus.
I swear I’m not stealing the methodology from that scam artist “Steve Stevens” on Money Talks, it’s just been the way I’ve bet for years and I just don’t understand why people place six or seven bets a day. Any thoughts or comments?
P.S. This is not meant to start arguments, just wondering if I’m not seeing something.

your methodology behind betting suits the person you are, and your schedule. Say your a very busy person making that one bet would suit you, if you have extra time to research games and find the nitty gritty keys to who will win and why making multiple bets suits you. See i am a college student and only work part time so m day is spent mostly around a computer about 6-8 hours aday, in between homework i take a break and do research. I usually make a total of 3 wagers with 6 teams (2 team parlays) one for each start time. This methodology suits me well i dont post much on here but have been a fairly successful wager maker. I simply use this website as another resource of my many that i go to daily for wagering

There are several different ways to look at this and there are couple people here who could answer this question better and with more elegance than me but here is my two cents.
To me setting a number, any number, on plays per day is foolish. You are best off always playing whatever you games that you perceive that you have an edge in relation to the line. I generally wind up playing 2-4 games a day baseball, some days it will be 0, other days I will have 6-8. To say it is Tuesday and I must make my one play when everything looks bad and forcing the play is not smart. However it is just as bad to try and guess which top play to make when you have 5 games that justify a play. Best of luck to you.

Try hitting just one bet everyday for two weeks and you'll find out the truth
I'm not saying that because I only pick my top pick everyday that I win it. I don't win 70%, hell I don't win 60%. My personal goal is 52% - 56%.
Also, thanks for all your input. I wasn't sure if there was some sort of unwritten rulebook (similar to blackjack) when it comes down to betting smart.
