Matt Garza righted the ship yesterday after his poor performance. Garza got the double play ball to end the inning, but Ellian Herrera let the ball go under his glove. Playing 2nd base isn't Herrera's natural position. Carlos Gomez misses a ball to further the damage and Hector Gomez makes a throwing error. To top things off Will Smith gets ejected for using pine tar mixed into sunscreen placed on his forearm. A lot of things had to go wrong for the Brewers to lose yesterday, and they did. I avoided betting yesterday due to the let down game of game 3 in Detroit and then having to travel to Atlanta the next day. Like Garza, Peralta will be righting the ship tonight. He's been pitching good except for that hiccup in his last start. I totally expect Peralta to come at this franchise that is merely rebuilding and not really that competitive. Broxton should right the ship as well and pitch a good 8th inning tonight. K-rod has been outstanding this year, so the 9th inning should be golden. Atlanta won't win 2 straight against a team that is getting their sleep for tonight's matchup and is just a better team.
