Cleveland/Baltimore discussion

Everything I'm looking at favors Cleveland but I see a lot of people on Baltimore.  Does someone have info I can't see?  Cleveland is 10-3 after a day of rest and Baltimore hasn't had a day off in 10 days including a double-header Monday.  Cleveland has the better starting pitcher and bullpen.  Yes, Baltimore feasted on the team giving up the second most runs in the American League (Toronto) but now they face the team tied for 1st in giving up the fewest.  Cleveland hasn't had the hottest offense but have scored 4+ runs in three games straight.   

Unless I have a blind spot (which is VERY possible) I see Cleveland taking game 1 5-2.  Open to hearing the other side though!

True I don't think Rogers is as bad as most people think but I still think Lively is better.  He's 5-1 with a 2.66 ERA at home.  I like the Orioles and think there are many spots to bet them but I don't see today as one of them.  But I've gotten my last 3 picks wrong so what do I know lol

Exactly...make a choice...believe what you feel.....everyone has an opinion....ultimately go with what you think is right....it's gambling....keep it simple and fun....overthinking just makes it difficult....I do respect other great cappers opinions though...gives you more perspective....mine is simple on this game....Orioles were struggling recently and now have a chance to climb the standings for east title with Yankees on day off...usually a even line with a great home team and pitcher should be slightly favoured especially with road team not disclosing starting pitcher on original line opening....lot's of gambling comes down to mathematics...I expect regression from Lively and the Guardians against the Orioles which I believe probably the toughest division in MLB....just my thoughts...best of luck and enjoy what will be a great battle between 2 great teams....Guardians going for Central Division title and Orioles East Division title....looking forward to this game....cheers

Thanks Philly.  That's exactly what I was looking for.  Regression is something I fail to consider and I agree with you the AL east is a tougher division, another thing I hadn't considered.  The AL central hasn't been represented in the World Series in a while and I think there's a reason for that.

Verdict, I'm not looking for someone to talk me into betting Baltimore and blindly tailing someone with my money.  I believe that multiple brains and perspectives are better than one and I like to hear all the angles so I can make the most informed choice possible.  I realize most people don't do this.

I don't get the total at all.  I feel like this is a lower scoring game but the line and total are messing me up.  That's why I wanted to open up a discussion because I feel like I'm missing something

Thank you for starting this discussion.  The orioles scored a good amount of points for newcomer Eflin, they could do the same for Roger's, especially since marlin ain't score no points for him in Miami contributing to his shitty ass record.

 I don’t get it either. Both guys have been pitching well but they are also both really mid pitchers. I would take Rogers over Lively if I was starting a team but guardians can hit lefties

 Baltimore is 13-2 on the road off exactly one road win and 12-3 last 15 road games on Thursday. Hope that helps!

Going with Cleveland myself a days rest, best record at home in the league, best record in the American League, mostly do not get any love from cappers yet they keep winning. I have done really well this season with them. Sticking with them here.
