Colonel, I have a question. I noticed in another thread, not yours, that someone typed that they were on the other side but said good luck anyhow.
It got me wondering... because I've never heard of a scenario where both teams in the same game were declared the winner. So either the person who said good luck to the original poster betting the other side subconsciously wants to lose their bet or is being insincere.
You must pardon me, I defer to your knowledge in light of the fact that you've certainly seen and experienced a lot more than o have including the best and worst in men. It's just I'm quite old fashioned and I believe people should say what they mean and more importantly mean what they say.
All that aside, I do like Kansas city and Boston and the over Seattle at Oakland, but the Pirates, I think Jones has tremendous upside but the Cubs are so hot right now. Last meeting Jones was rolling along through 4 then the wheels fell off in the 5th. Cubs are feeling real good about themselves after an amazing road trip, but they return home and with the unpredictable wind patterns at Wrigley, not sure I want to touch that game.
