They might win this series but they have no shot at all to win the WS. They depend way too much on HRs and their bullpen is just mediocre. No way they will stay alive in N.Y. or L.A.

the mets bullpen that had addison freakin reed who couldnt hack it anywhere blowing games out there and is relying on bartolo colon is any better? and i dont trust anyone that comes out of the dodgers bullpen. kershaw left after giving up 1 run and men on base in the first game and the bullpen promptly blew it.  please cubs have just as good a shot as anyone in the national league. kansas city is the only pen to fear.

not to mention they have the best pitcher in baeball who is more then capable of pitching 2 complete game wins if there isnt a hurricaine blowing out of wrigley. and grim looks pretty nasty to me and strop is more then capable.

I don&#x27;t know but what I&#x27;ve seen I would not trust the Cubs batters to score more than 2 runs in ballparks like in NY and LA.Yes Arrieta beat the Pirates and they did catch the Cards oin a very bad spot. But i am not sold on this team. They definitely need Arrieta to win every game away from home

You are right. But I just do not understand why so many people are high on them. Their hitting is not goo when the pitcher can keep the ball low. Their bullpen is just pitching balls in the dirt (wow did the cards swing on this sh***t often ). I think we will see their problems when facing teams in their ballparks and I&#x27;ll guess NY/LA have seen enough how to beat the cubs. Just my opinion

Good call Playya. &#xD;&#xA;After watching Arrieta pitch in Chicago vs. SL, I was of the opinion that he had lost his command that game. A good number of people here on Covers, experts and even TV broadcasters were quick to dismiss the sub-par performance due to the heavy winds blowing to left field that night. &#xD;&#xA;Not me. &#xD;&#xA;When a pitcher is missing spots that he hasn&#x27;t missed in three months, that is a clue. His control in the SL game was poor. He only walked two, I think, but he was not the same dominating pitcher. &#xD;&#xA;Good call on the Cubs. Fade the haters.
